Not all horses can give you a combination of both rideability and international capability. Balou Bey is bred to jump to the moon, and still have you on top when he lands. His sire Bratt Z (Baloubet du Rouet/Capitol I) got perfect 10's free jumping while getting approved for both AHHA and CWHBA (first time this had ever happened), and his dam, extremely easy to break to saddle, when out of shape, and with Bubba still nursing, scored 888 for her freejumping at her AHHA inspection (no other mare got above 9, even those competing), and before that, had blocked the top of the 8ft vertical behind her while freejumping at home. She is by Camiros, champion of his stallion approvals in Germany, and her mother, by the successful jumper Lemgo, has won ribbons for showjumping, dressage, eventing, and even barrel racing.

This amazingly talented guy not only learns quickly, picking up longe and long line in very few lessons, he looks, moves, jumps, and acts like:
* an elegant version his 2002 successfully jumping maternal uncle, Conquistador H, who was a stallion for 5 years, then gelded and shown by his owner's daughter. Despite his late start, he has been champion at 1.2m (4ft), and is schooling 1.4m (4.6ft). He is for sale for $100K.
* a bay version of this uncle's gorgeous grey 2002 full brother Conquistador H II, just as talented. Both brothers jumped out of their 6 ft paddocks upon arrival to their new homes, only H II promptly went right past the neighbor's screaming yearling fillies, to play in the showjumps!
* his maternal grandmother's little brother, eventing Horse of the Year Le Samurai, also competing at Rolex Kentucky 4* twice ...

I am moving to Nevada from Illinois ASAP, so please move fast if you live more East, than West! Can help arrange for affordable shipping.

I stand behind the horses I breed, and continue to offer a 22 x-ray guarantee: if your favorite licensed veterinarian (doesn't have to be the vet that takes the x-rays, though they have to consult) doesn't like something on them, causing you to back out of the sale, I buy back that x-ray, with exact explanation, plus up to 22 others taken that day. I do not pay for an x-ray set up fee, any other x-rays, or the overall pre-purchase exam. If they are digital, the vet has to email the x-rays to me, with a copy of each that fail, marked up with arrows or the like, and an explanation. If they are "analog," the x-rays must be mailed to me with explanation, marked up with "sticky arrows" or the like.

Bred (and registered, and branded) to be eligible as a stallion for AHHA, he is still well behaved and intact, but can be gelded. I've had a hunter customer keep her colt intact until broken to ride, so he was more muscular for baby green under saddle (he got a blue ribbon, first time out), and some dressage customers feel that a stallion is more brilliant in the ring than a gelding, and keep them intact even when not breeding.

Height and weight are estimated at maturity, based on cannon bone length, yearling height, and height/weight of relatives.
